The spring issue of the Knox Historical Museum's quarterly magazine, The Knox Countian, edited by Charles Reed Mitchell, is now available for purchase at the Museum in Barbourville or via the online Museum Store. The cost per magazine at the museum is $3 while the cost via the website is $3 plus 6 percent sales tax and a $1.25 shipping fee.
This is, hopefully, the first of many photos submitted to the Museum pertaining to the Pentecostal Children's Home of Knox County, Ky. It appears to be a note burning ceremony. Thanks to Sudie Gray, Barbara Liford, Marie Mills and Jennifer Jackson Warren for their efforts in recognizing those pictured. An article about the Children's Home will be featured in a future issue of the Knox Countian magazine.

I am trying to find information on Great-Great Grandparents & Great Grandparents that lived in Know County, My Grandmother was born in Flat Lick, KY on July 27, 1884 to Hamilton Gator Baker & Catherine Howington.
