Generations room - Rope Bed and Bicentennial QuiltJust off the lobby is the Generations Room, which features a rope or corded bed that is covered with a Kentucky Bicentennial Quilt featuring Knox County's history.

Other items include an old spinning wheel, early Singer sewing machine, stained glass window from an early Barbourville home once lived in by the first railroad depot agent, and an automobile robe used when roads were predominately mud, rock and dust.

The Museum also features different Knox County families, primarily through photo display and written documents.
