Knox Historical Museum Reopens

The Knox Historical Museum reopened Sept. 15, 2021 after a month of shutdown due to the pandemic.  Officials of the Barbourville city government unlocked the front door to the municipal building and are permitting the museum to serve the public as usual.  Visitors are urged to wear a mask and follow suggested safety measures.

The City officials cautioned us that a similar shut down might recur should another large local outbreak of disease take place.

Museum hours are Weds., 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.  The museum is located on the second floor of the Barbourville Municipal building, 196 Daniel Boone Drive, Barbourville, KY.
