Visit the Knox Historical Museum's extensive
collection of photographs.
On August 25, 2016, Jayne Poynter of Corbin donated her extensive collection of genealogy books, documents and other materials to the Knox Historical Museum.
On Sept. 21, 2016, Jakalyn Jackson of Cannon, Kentucky donated a large collection of genealogical documents and records to the Knox Historical Museum. The donation was made in memory of the late Sonya Burnette, who died on February 27, 2015.
1948 Daniel Boone Festival Souvenir Postcard Set

A set of postcards with scenes from the first Daniel Boone Festival of 1948 was published to be sold as souvenirs of the festival and promotion for the second festival, scheduled October 21 and 22, 1949.
Dwight D. Warren of Oak Ridge, Tenn., has authorized the Knox Historical Museum to copy and publicize his hand-drawn map of Roaring Fork on Stinking Creek in Knox County, Kentucky.
The Knox Historical Museum is now selling the 2017 Barbourville History Calendar, which will be available for $10 each during the 2016 Daniel Boone Festival. The calendars will sold beneath a tent beside the festival's information booth in front of the courthouse.
The Museum staff will also be selling calendars for 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. The cost is $5 each for these older calendars.

I am trying to find information on Great-Great Grandparents & Great Grandparents that lived in Know County, My Grandmother was born in Flat Lick, KY on July 27, 1884 to Hamilton Gator Baker & Catherine Howington.
